Much to Post, but This will Have to do for Now!

Mom Young just left today after spending 10 days visiting us in our new home. There is too much to post right now, but since I was recently tagged I thought I would at least post my meme.
I won't be tagging anyone, as most people who read this blog do not themselves have blogs. I will simply invite anyone who wants to leave a response to do so in the comments, or to leave a comment with a link to your blog if you have one!

WHAT’S IN A NAME?

The Rules:

1. You have to post these rules before you give the facts.

2. Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of their middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.

3. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog-post containing your own middle name.

4. At the end of your blog-post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

L-Loving (I love my God, my family and my friends and hope that love is communicated continually)

Y-Young (Corny I know, but with it being my maiden/birth name I still will always be "Young" at heart)

N-Neat/Natty (I have been told by family and friends that I am on the verge of O.C.D., but isn't everyone!)

N-Neighborly (I hope to be as hospitable as possible at all times and to love my neighbors both physically speaking and metaphorically. It doesn't always happen, but it is definitely something I strive for)

First bath together

The girls took their first bath together tonight. There was much splashing and slipping and sliding going after toys. And much laughter.

General Updatidge

Potty Training: On hold until further notice due to lack of interest and much frustration on the part of a certain 2 year old. To be revisited at a later date.

Teething: 4 teeth down, 2 starting to poke through and too many left to go.

Greek Class: This is the final week with 2 classes left (along with 2 quizzes, 1 in each class period) and then Friday is the final exam. Going well, but we will all be glad to be done with the week.

Visits: Nana (Steph's mom) comes to visit in a week and we are all very excited to see her and show her our new home, since she will be the first to see our home all set up and out of boxes.

We are also looking forward to having Melissa (Steph's sister) and the crew (Bethany, Heather and possibly Anna) come in October to come hang out and explore New England with us.

And we are super excited we will be able to be in the Northwest for Christmas to visit family and friends!

Busyness: We have been pretty busy lately with getting to know people, visiting new churches and finishing the last bit of transitions from one side of the country to the other. Finally we are beginning to feel somewhat settled into our new home.

We love you all and hope to give some real updates soon, but hopefully this will do for now!

New pics

Finally uploaded some new pictures tonight to our Flickr account. I especially like the ones of a recent walk around campus.

Maraca

Note to 2 year olds everywhere:

If it's nigh-nigh time and you've been put to bed, and you're not supposed to get out of bed at all, don't get up to play with loud maracas that are across the room. They'll give you away every time.

Tall girl

Even though we just lowered her crib to the bottom setting, Ellie can stand up and peek over the edge of it.

Cuddle bug

Lizzie's getting very good at cuddling.

NW

Mark the dates. Dec 15 - Dec 31. The Hutch's are coming back to the 'Couv.

(Thanks to both sets of folks for paying our way)

Side Note: Turns out it's cheaper to fly in and out of Manchester, NH than Boston, MA. A little bit further in terms of mileage away, but hey, it's worth it.
