Tears

I'm convinced that a baby's crying affects mothers and fathers very, very differently. Agree?

Love those green beans

Elizabeth has moved on to Stage 2 foods. And you guessed it, she still loves those green beans.

Note: This messy-mishap happened when Steph assumed that Lizzie wasn't very hungry and would only eat a bite or two, "so why pull her shirt down, use the highchair or even a bib?" Well, this would be why! (Extra Note: Never let a 7 month old "help Mommy" feed herself by shoveling the food off the spoon and into her mouth with her fingers.)

Some Thinkers!

Last night we were shopping for some clothes online for a new baby boy. Amongst our shopping we came across this, click here. We got a kick out of it.

Our baby girl

In the midst of trying to snap up photos of the classic Hutchison Hair, we were able to get this beautiful picture.

The Business that Almost Was

Well, it was a short lived run. The Ebay Store of Steph's Candle Hutch died last night (we cancelled it). But the store lives on! Steph's Candle Hutch has now moved to its own domain!

But wait, what's this? The city of Vancouver, WA says we have to pay $225 dollars for a business license to run a business out of our home? Well... shoot. And so the home business dies before it got started. Not the wisest thing we've ever done, but we've learned quite a bit in the process, so not all is lost.

But what do we with all this inventory and a brand spanking new two year contract for StephsCandleHutch.com? We become a non-profit, that's what. Steph's genius idea of how to get our money back. We have reduced the prices of our inventory so that we come out even. If we're not aiming to make any money, then we're not a business. If we're not a business, we don't need no stinkin' business license. And hey, we've got two years to do it.

So, if you'd like to help us break even and undo that which we have done, and you are in want or in need of any of some votive candles, pillar candles or votive candle holders, check out StephsCandleHutch.com. Steph calls it a "Going out of business, never was a business" sale.

Oh, and so you're not surprised: I'm not quite done with the website yet... but the functionality is there.
