It is tough to believe that this little girl is now 5. Happy Birthday Lizzie!

We are Back

So we are in our newly rented home and are starting to "settle in", whatever that means. I am putting together an update letter complete with our new address and hopefully a picture or two. If you would like one, please let me know, and if need be email me your address!

Too Much

So I haven't been a good blogger. It always seem like when I have the most things to post about, I have the least amount of time to sit at the computer to post. That has been the case as of late.

There will be many posts to come, though I can't guarantee how long it will be before they appear. Here is a glimpse:

Ellie: Whoa! I didn't know lemons could swim!

Lizzie: Daddy, can you put on the video?

Allen: You'll need to wait.

Steph: Do you see what Daddy's doing?

Lizzie: Yes, he's feeding Gracie.

Allen: Can I feed Gracie and put on a video at the same time?

Lizzie: No, you only have two hands. You're not an octopus.

Belated

Well, we're several days late, but Happy Birthday Malina Grace! We can't believe you're 1 year old already!

I Got You

Background: I (Allen) often call Steph, "Babe." At dinner time tonight, I had just playfully called Lizzie "Babe."

Lizzie: I'm not your Babe!
Allen: What do you mean?
L: I'm not your Babe, Mommy's your Babe.
Allen: But you can be my Babe too.
L: No, someday I'm gonna be someone else's Babe!

Doctor Lizzie just informed patient Mommy that Mommy has peanut butter in her ears.

Miracle

Lunchtime around the table, Lizzie and Ellie telling me about Tuesday morning class at church:

Lizzie: The staples [disciples] were afraid and then Jesus walked on the water!

Allen (trying to make trouble): How did he do that?

Lizzie (straight-faced): With his feet. It was a miracle.
