4 mo. check up

Ellie had her 4 month check up today. She's one healthy 4 month old. As for the stats:

25-1/4" long -- 75 percentile

16 lbs 2 oz -- 95 percentile

That's right ladies and gentlemen, our 4 month old Ellie is the size of an average 6 month old.

Rollin'

Last night, Ellie rolled over! It took a lot of effort; and she was close for a few days, but after much effort, she finally was able to tuck the shoulder and make the roll.

She's done it a few different times today; she'll be a pro within the week I wager.

Go Ohio State!

Here's hoping they win the NCAA championship tonight!

Big Girl

Ellie is just over 3 months old. She wears 9 month old clothes. Me thinks she takes after her father.

UPDATE: Ellie now wears the same size diaper as Lizzie.

I Think I'll Go to Boston

Today I checked out possibilities for future travels into Boston.

There’s a commuter train station 5 minutes from school. To park all day costs $2.

To ride the train into Boston is a 45 minute trip, costing me and Steph each $6.25 each way (the girls are free). (Total up to $27)

Once arriving at North Station in Boston, within a 30 minute walking and/or public transportation (subway or bus, which are free with a commuter rail ticket) radius are the following:

• Fenway Park (They give tours! Woo hoo!)
• Boston’s Children Hospital (where we will take Lizzie for her cardiology appointments)
• a couple shopping malls
• the Museum of Science
• quite a few historical landmarks
• the M.I.T. campus (I’ve always wanted to visit there)
• the Harvard campus (again, always wanted to visit there)
• quite a number of parks
• Logan International Airport
• did I mention Fenway?!

Diaper

Lizzie helped change Ellie's diaper this morning. What a good helper!

Dooooooo nut

Lizzie ate a whole raised glazed donut by herself this morning. I'm beaming with pride.
